Lacer’s Arboreal Reptile Co

Making my hobby YOUR hobby by encouraging reptile keepers to get their feet off the ground.

Arboreals are a tough sell when it comes to the average keeper. Most if not all of the arboreal kingdom are labelled as “expert level” projects to care for, and let’s be honest, there’s nothing simple about providing the appropriate facilities for these animals. But once you have the right set up for your new elevated friend, they’re honestly some of the most low maintenance creatures on the planet. Our goal here at Lacer’s Arc is to encourage you and help give you the guidance you need to start caring for and sustaining these beautiful creatures, providing them an adequate home in your own home!

Encouragment for Keepers

Keeping arboreal reptiles can be intimidating, but with the right preparations, these guys can live a life that mimics the wild, without the constant predator involvement. The animals kept at LARC are the top of their food chain in thier own little ecosystems.

Breeding Starts Now!

One of my many goals is provide an excellent ecosystem that promotes healthy living and breeding for my animals, and will alow them to thrive in season and out. All of my animals live in bioactive enclosures with automatic misting and controlled humidity/heat. The smallest enclosure I have is 4 ft x 2 ft, allowing these guys plenty of space to hunt, explore and grow. All of my animals start out on live prey, but in the interest of safety for my older, larger snakes, I’ve swapped out for fresh frozen thawed.

“The most important step in getting an arboreal reptile is first creating an environment that promotes a safe and healthy lifestyle.”
